At LAAS, we believe privacy should be simple. We collect only the information necessary to provide, operate, and improve the LAAS experience.
Using LAAS Without an Account
You can use the LAAS app without signing in with Apple or Google.
When you first use the app, LAAS creates an anonymous profile identified by an internal User ID. This profile allows us to associate your locks, lock groups, and settings with your app installation.
This anonymous profile is not associated with your name or email address.
Signing In
Signing in with Apple or Google is optional.
If you choose to sign in, LAAS may receive:

Your name or username (if provided by you or shared by Apple or Google)

Your email address (if provided by Apple or Google)
Signing in links your anonymous profile to your account, allowing your locks and settings to be synchronized across devices.
LAAS never receives or stores your Apple or Google password.

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

Product Information
To operate your LAAS products, we may store:

Lock serial numbers

Purchases
If you purchase LAAS products through the LAAS webshop, we may associate your purchase information with your LAAS account or anonymous profile.

This allows us to activate products, verify ownership, provide customer support, process warranties, and deliver related services.
Device and Diagnostic Information

Information We Do Not Collect
The LAAS app does not require:

Payment and shipping information used when purchasing products through the LAAS webshop is handled separately during checkout.
Apple Find My
The LAAS app does not collect, store, or track your location.
If you choose to use Apple's Find My network, location services are provided entirely through Apple's Find My service.
LAAS does not receive, store, process, or have access to your location or location history through Apple's Find My network.
How We Use Your Information
We use information only to:

These providers process information only as necessary to provide the LAAS service.
Delete your LAAS Account and Data
You can delete your LAAS account and associated data in the app, whether you use an anonymous profile or sign in with Apple or Google. Open Profile, select Delete my data, and confirm.
Deleting your LAAS data removes your profile and personal information stored by LAAS. You will leave all lock groups. Any lock for which you are the sole owner will be deleted and reset, ready to be paired again. Your Apple or Google account will not be affected.
If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@laas.me with the subject LAAS account deletion request. If your LAAS account is linked to Apple or Google, include the email address associated with it so we can identify and verify your account. Do not send your password.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Welcome to LAAS.
By using the LAAS app or any LAAS products, you agree to these Terms of Use.
Accounts
You may use the LAAS app without signing in.
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, your use of those services is also governed by Apple's or Google's respective terms and privacy policies.
Access to Your Locks
You are responsible for managing access to your LAAS products, including any access you choose to share with family members, friends, or other users.
Software Updates
We may release updates to improve security, reliability, compatibility, and functionality of the LAAS app and supported products.
We recommend keeping the app and product firmware up to date.
Warranty
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LAAS ApS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the LAAS app or LAAS products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
Intellectual Property
The LAAS app, software, trademarks, logos, website, and related intellectual property belong to LAAS ApS or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
